Welcome back veterans, welcome newcomers!

Yes, this will be the sixth Challenge. Bigger and better than ever before. Develop your skills, sleep a lot, because you will need everything to prove, you are the best in the IT world!

The Electrical Engineering Students' Hungarian Association
and the
Simonyi College for Advanced Studies
are proud to announce the

6th International 24-hour Programming Contest
presented by BME - Budapest University of Technology and Economics and KTH - Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

held from the 21st of April to the 23th of April 2006.

The challenge You have always been dreaming of...

Have you ever felt that you were stuck with a problem and there was no way out? Or have you ever heard the rooster crowing while you were still adding some 'minor' changes to your work before the deadline?
Here is your chance to measure your capabilities, to compare yourselves to other programming teams!
All you have to do to compete for the prize is to form a team and enter the contest!

Application is accepted by groups of three participants from any country. The competition is open for everybody and free of charge, there is no registration fee! In the first, qualifying round of the contest (Electronic Contest) teams have to solve problems announced on the Internet. The best 30 teams (inculding the top 3 teams from last year) will be invited to Budapest, Hungary, where they will have to complete a single but very complex task in 24 hours. Participants use their own computers without any restrictions to operating system, development tools or programming platform. You can use any printed materials, anything you ever imagined, except communication equipment, internet, mobile phones, etc.

The total amount of the awards is more than 5.000 EUR.
